Process

From a living plant to porcelain

  1. A seedling with roots growing out of a block of clay in a glass vessel.

    Growing

The plants grow in Diana's garden.

  2. Porcelain radishes fixed to a metal mesh.

    Soaking

The real plant is soaked in porcelain slip.

  3. A hand holding a fired white porcelain root against a metal mesh.

    Firing

The organic matter burns away, the plant's form stays.
