Breaking the Form

At the international porcelain workshop “Breaking the Form” with the ceramic artist Monika Patuszyńska, the artist made her own plaster moulds that resemble fragments of flowers. Plant motifs inspired them.

The moulds were made with her own technique. Porcelain slip is poured into them, and the pieces are then shaped by combining different forms. This is how the porcelain sculptures and vases “For plants” were made. They measure roughly 5-20 cm.
