Jewellery

From real plants

A plant that once belonged to its natural surroundings takes on another state of being when it is embodied in porcelain slip. It becomes a frozen moment of contact with nature: a delicate fragment of life that a person can carry with them.

In this way a piece of jewellery takes on an almost ritual character. It becomes a personal link to a season, a memory, a place or a feeling once lived through.

Here porcelain jewellery works as a small architecture of memory. Fragile plant structures preserved in porcelain bear witness to a time that has passed yet remains in the material.
