With real plants

“My garden”: a hydrangea cloud and a rain of flowers. The installation grew out of a calling to feel and understand nature. The hydrangea loves moisture, so the cloud and rain motifs came naturally, and the quiet rain of flowers recalls autumn, when hydrangea blossoms turn shades of brown.

Climate change and a lack of water can dry out not only plants but the planet itself. In this work the cloud becomes a subtle symbol of life that links people, plants and the world.

“My wild meadow” is made from plants the artist grew and dried in her own garden: sedges and other herbaceous plants, marigolds, bur marigolds, wild dill flowers, sprigs of flax and lavender. The wild meadow motif invites you to stop, remember and feel a carefree childhood in nature.
